  1. Kyle says:

Pretty good game so far. Ronaldo once again proves he is the whiniest biotch in all of football. Come on City!

  2. ManicMessiah says:

Manchester United are a goal up and a man down with about 4 minutes plus stoppage time to go. Rooney got a tap in goal back in the first half, though Park did a lot of the work to keep the ball on that play. Ronaldo got sent off for a second yellow on a really odd play where he jumped up for a ball on a corner, and just put his hands in front of his face to stop the ball.

3 goals in the Napoli-Inter game, with Inter scoring twice before Napoli ewualized 9 minutes from half time, a backheel which was taken by Lavezzi who chipped the keeper. Inter deserves the lead, and it’s in the 65th minute right now.

  3. Kyle says:

how can it be tied if there are 3 goals?

  4. ManicMessiah says:

I meant to write they pulled one back. Thanks, Kyle.

  5. Jacob A. says:

    Oh how I loathe Ronaldo.

Please President Calderon, please resist the urge and stay away.

  6. Kyle says:

despite him being a great player i just cant respect ronaldo and i dont like watching him. i love the way united plays but i’d rather watch liverpool, arsenal, chelsea, barca, madrid etc…

  7. Kyle says:

any good streams for Inter match?

  8. Kyle says:

Guys make sure you dont post any news about any of the matches today because somebody might be recording one and we wouldn’t want to upset them. hahaha

  9. Reid says:

there might be more people at revolution games then at the Inter match

  10. Michael F. says:

“Sir Alex’s men controlled the game from start to finish, proving class and ability on the pitch counts for far more than wealth and ambition off it.”

  11. Igor says:

Jozy is starting for Villarreal today:

    link to

  12. Betinho says:

Michael, yeah, wealth ahs nothing to do with Uninted success.

Jozy is on the bench for Villareal…but so is Nihat.

  13. Betinho says:

Espnsoccernet has Jozy on the bench.

  14. ManicMessiah says:

    Chelsea – Arsenal lineups

Cech, Boswinga, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Deco, Ballack, Lampard, Kalou, Anelka

Almunia, Sagna, Gallas, Djourou, Clichy, Denilson, Fabregas, Nasri, Song Billong, Van Persie, Adebayor

  15. johninatl says:

Any good streams of Spurs v Everton? Realize this is on later today, but just want to test my new Black Friday laptop. Cheers!

  16. Betinho says:

    Anybody else having trouble with

  17. ManicMessiah says:

4th minute- Kalou played through by Deco, but was flagged for offsides, though he looked to be even with the defender.

  18. Betinho says:

Jozy is starting and was fed nicely on ar un down the right side. He took a nice touch into the box and had it blocked. showed nice speed and strength.

  19. Betinho says:

Espnsoccernet proves to be as reliable as usual when it comes to line ups.

  20. Betinho says:

Jozy is too strong for the La Liga defenders! He just fought of two defenders in the center of the box and laid it off to (it’s in spanish so i don’t know who) a wide open teammate who fired into side netting.

  21. Jerry says:

Villareal up 1-0. Jozy starting and playing really well.

  22. Betinho says:

Goal Villareal off a corner. It was Corzola with a shot from just outside the box. It took a deflection off a defender.

  23. Kyle says:

    own goal by djewru

  24. Kyle says:

any time jozy touches someone they fall over

  25. Betinho says:

Nice header flick on by Jozy into the path of the run of Rossi. Rossi fires low and is parried out for a corner.

  26. eric says:

Chelsea up 1-0, and almost made it 2 there.

Goal was an OG off a vicious cross by Boswinga.

  27. Kyle says:

jozy seems to be playing great. I’ve got a pretty lame stream.

  28. Betinho says:

Beautiful free kick by Ibagaza. No chance for the goalkeeper. Perfectly places in the corner.

  29. Jerry says:

    Goal Villareal. Game now 2-0

  30. kyle says:

    amazing free kick

  31. luis says:

So i read some where in the internet that if Jozy played this game he wasn’t going to be able to be loaned during the transfer window. Could some please tell me if its true?

  32. Betinho says:

Jozy is playing great. Ok it’s against the worst team in La Liga but hopefully with performances like this he will be able to get more playing time against the better teams.

I’m fine with him not being loaned – if that’s the case. He’s developing fine IMO.

He’s playing well in combo with Rossi (I will resist whining here). there’s no question he’s our (USA) number one striker. He seems most effective with a partner up top – not as a single striker. BB needs to find who to pair with him – Landon, Coop, etc..IMO it needs to be someone creative not a target guy (I love you Chingy but time to become a super sub).

  33. Isaac says:

we should try Jozy and Dempsey up top again. Dempsey is plenty creative and can take pressure himself. Freddy can take his spot on the right, Beasley on the left Donovan right behind Jozy and Deuce, and Bradley behind Landon.

  34. Isaac says:

Jozy was sprung, but he gave it away. thats the one thing he does that ching hardly ever did.

  35. Betinho says:

Isaac, I like that but I would like a more natural finisher paired with Jozy. I’m a huge Deuce fan but I really like him more on the outside running at people. Landon and Cooper seem to have better touch when it counts.

I’d try same players but Landon up top, Deuce on the right and Freddy behind Jozy and Landon…Tomayto – Tomahto

  36. Isaac says:

close one, the keeper dropped it almost to the feet of a Recre player

  37. luis says:

Altidore does a really good job of staying onside

  38. Isaac says:

Betinho, That would probably be best. I dont think Freddy will start though. What’ll probably happen is Sacha and Bradley in the middle, Dempsey and Beez on the wings, then Landon and Jozy up top. We could also see Jozy and Cooper up top Donovan right behind them, Dempsey and Beez on the wings, and bradley right behind Landon.

  39. GOAL ARSENAL. It’s Van Persie with a sweet finish from 17 yards out. They’re tied 1-1 in the 60th

  40. Isaac says:

Jozy nearly gets his head on one, but Morris clears

  41. GOAL ARSENAL!!!! And it’s Van Persie again with a beautiful turn and left-footed blast to the far post. Arsenal 2, Chelsea 1 in the 63rd minute.

  42. Isaac says:

Recre has a goal called offside.

  43. Betinho says:

Aaargh, computer betraying me…back just in time to see Jozy subbed off.

  44. Isaac says:

Edmilson comes on for Jozy. He had a pretty solid performance. Some kinks to work out but not bad overall.

  45. The Chelsea-Arsenal match has really picked up. Some good wide-open stuff. 15 minutes to go.

  46. mikeK says:

Jozy out in the 78th, good to see him get some quality time. He was subbed off for a midfielder in a game they were winning 2-0, no surprise there.

  47. docsoccer says:

preston zimmerman scored last week, and started this week for his team in the austrian bundesliga, he needs to be called up.

  48. eric says:

What a win by the Arse, even if goal 1 was offsides. Stamford Bridge is officially no longer a fortress, with 2 home losses on the season now after none for a staggering period of time.

I wish Van Persie could stay healthy, it was great to see him show his talent in a huge game. Injuries are so key, it’s amazing how thin even teams like Chelsea, Man U, and Arsenal look after a couple of guys are out.

But the real lesson of the game is don’t talk trash to your opponents in the press leading up to big matches! That goes for you too, Geovanni…

  49. Cory says:

Altidore and Cooper up top with Dempsey/Donovan on the wings and Bradley/Kljestan playing holding midfielder. But what about Adu or Beasley? Beasley is great but he’s too injured and Adu has alot of talent but cant even be a sub for Monaco.

  50. IreneIsNotMyGod says:

Defoe, Crouch, Zaki, Ronaldo, Van Persie, Torres, Bent, Anelka. best strikers in the league. ‘

I cant wait til Torres is back and he can set the league on fire.

  51. IreneIsNotMyGod says:

Wait til Liverpool play 2moro. Im pegging a goal for Kuyt and Babel if he starts.

  52. Tim says:

Jozy being subed was tactical sub right??

  53. RK says:

luis, I cannot get confirmation of that. I wish (nudge nudge) that someone would follow up on that and see if there is some La Liga rule that prevents a player from being loaned if he makes six appearances. And is it 6 in La Liga, or 6 overall?

  54. eric says:

Tim – Jozy was pulled for an extra MF while up 2-0. Looks like it was for defensive tactics. Of course, they conceded right after, the best defense is Jozy running right at your defense.

Nice win for Roma today, Totti is really putting that team on his back right now. Might be too late to do anything other than make Serie A more interesting, but you have to appreciate how he steps up.

  55. Greg says:

Gentlemen, don’t forget the Boca-Racing game today. We’re 20 minutes into it and Racing needs to stop those Boca B~stards from taking sole lead of the table.

  56. Nic says:

Palermo showed exceptional skills and heart today, beating AC Milan 3-1. Even with all that star talent Milan couldn’t pull it together.
