Happy New Year from SBI

As 2008 winds to a close and 2009 arrives, it is time to wish everybody a Happy New Year.

Thanks to all of you for making 2008 a special one for Soccer By Ives. For a first year as an independent site, SBI did pretty well and that success is owed to you, the SBI readers. We will be working very hard to make sure 2009 is even better.

So raise your glasses and grab some grapes. Say goodbye to 2008 and hello to 2009.

Happy New Year!

I can’t believe its been a whole year since you launched this site. It feels like yesterday you were making all these posts about “big things to come in January” etc. Hopefully 2009 can be just just as successful if not more than 2008 was.
    Happy New Year Ives.

2008 was maybe not so great. SBI was one of the few good things that came from 08. Ives, your site was an example of hard work meeting with a group in need of a product. your award is the end product of this. Thanks for the site and look forward to 09.

Happy New Year! My daughter this morning informed me that now it was February 2001. God forbid. Back then I was completely disconnected from the wonderful world of football. SBI is like a footy IV for me. Thanks and all the best in 2009!

Happy New Year Ives and thanks for all the incredibly hard work involved in maintaining this site. It has become the “go to” site for the latest soccer info and the bloggers are great. Thanks to all the SI readers who have varying degrees of knowledge but lots of passion for the sport. Everyone is treated with respect because they love soccer. This is just a fun place to go.
