It was a perfect day for London clubs in Champions League play on Tuesday as Chelsea and Arsenal both posted victories to take control of their respective groups.

Chelsea cruised to a comfortable 2-0 victory against French champion Marseille at Stamford Bridge, while Arsenal overcame a myriad of injuries to post a 3-1 victory on the road against Partizan Belgrade.

The match of the day ended in a tie as Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted the equalizer to help AC Milan tie his former club, Ajax.

Here is a rundown of Tuesday's scores:

Sporting Braga 0, Shakhtar Donetsk 3

Chelsea 2, Marseille 0

Spartak Moscow 3, MSK Zilina 0

Roma 2, CFR Cluj 1

Ajax 1, AC Milan 1

Auxerre 0, Real Madrid 1

FC Basel 1, Bayern Munich 2

Partizan Belgrade 1, Arsenal 3

What did you think of Tuesday's results? Disappointed in Real Madrid's performance? Impressed with Arsenal? Think there is anybody playing better than Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg?

I’ve been noticing that too about Maarten Stekelenburg. I used to think he was a so so goalie, but he has really stepped up his game. That started with the World Cup. I’m wondering if he wants a transfer.
