The Peruvians were the ones to do that as a hat-trick from Paolo Guerrero gave Peru a 4-1 victory and the bronze medals on Saturday. Peru jumped out in front just before halftime when William Chiroque finished off a pass from Guerrero, who went on to score three goals in the second half. Venezuela, which finished the game with 10 men after Tomas Rincon received a red card, had its lone goal come from Juan Arango.
Guerrero is now the tournament's top scorer with five goals. Uruguay's Luis Suarez and Argentina's Sergio Aguero are tied for second with three each.
