The final weekend of 2012 is upon us and the Premiership is sitting front and center to close out the year.
The Premiership is the only top tier in Europe that will be having games this weekend, but there are plenty of matches worth watching, including Manchester United’s clash with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. West Bromwich are currently in sixth place in the league standings and will be looking for a surprise result to end the year, so the Red Devils are surely in for a tough test at Old Trafford.
Chelsea and Everton will also face off in one of the weekend’s bigger games. Only three points separate the two clubs in the standings, and a win for the Toffees could push them into third place while knocking Chelsea down the table.
Liverpool, meanwhile, will try and end a disappointing 2012 on a positive note when they visit relegation-threatened Queens Park Rangers. The Reds are coming off a 3-1 defeat to Stoke City on Boxing Day, so they will need a victory to help appease a fanbase that has its stakes, torches and pitchforks out.

Should I risk getting up at 630am to watch Dempsey not play due to groin? Hes gotta be doubtful for this o e. I haven’t heard squat on the injury either.
Is he training with the team or not? Surely this is being reported somewhere, given that Tottenham are a big club and aside from fans there are plenty out there who would be interested in such injury information for fantasy sports or gambling purposes….
daily mail said demps could be back, but they didn’t say why they think that.
