Who actually believes that FIFA will do what they claim? Sepp was talking about players dealing with the issue by shaking hands about two months ago. They will just rule everything a minor infraction and give a slap on the wrist.

I’m waiting for the internet to photochop the banner and place something else.

If Suarez does go to Spain, he needs to remember that they eat “small plates.” So, the next time he bites somebody, he can only take a Tapas sized portion.

Do the Reds even want to sell? It’s kind of like the Rooney rumors.

I doubt he’s going anywhere. Unless he hands in a transfer request, the club aren’t going to sell him. You don’t attract world class footballers without gobs of money or Champions League football. Currently, the Reds have neither.

Suarez is most definitely world class, so they will need to hold on to him and hope that he can help them get to the top 4 this year. After that, if he wants to go play for Madrid… more power to him.

Sepp just wanted FIFA to float his expences at a prestigous beach side resort, you think someone as corrupt and ovbiously detached from the realities of racism…levying fines on clubs did nothing but line your pockets.

David Luiz can’t defend when playing in position, and is ho-hum as a middie. He can hit a free kick but you’d hand that back on defense. Sell the player, cash the check, and go shopping for people who can upgrade the team.

I’d say he is a bit better than ho-hum playing in the midfield, but I agree, they should sell him if they get anything close to that $52 mill.

so was this fifa election a female-candidates-only thing? didn’t see anything in the linked article stating that outright, but that seems to be the case. odd.

Nice to see FIFA doubling down on its quota hires: if you’re going to earmark a seat for a woman, might as well make it an African woman.

Way to hire a female FIFA. Congratulations on entering the 1900s.

Professional sports, and soccer in particular, has become the testing ground for every leftist fantasy, from eradicating “racism” to female equality. Pathetic.
