Akaminko was a big loss for them

He isn’t a big lose. They would have replaced him with someone.

All the talk from the coaches and players about getting ready for Ghana has me worried.
Of course you are hinging your chances on the first game, but they talk about it so confidently and obsessively that Ghana players are going to come in angry. Show some coach-speak. They’ve beat us the last two cycles, they’re more skilled than we are, we don’t need to make them angry as well.

Meh…look at the rest of the group. Ghana wants three points from this game, too.

        Exactly.
You still don’t talk it up as if it’s your superbowl and you will beat them though.

FWIW, I don’t think Portugal is much better than Ghana. They play really mediocre and *if* someone can contain Ronaldo then Portugal will go down easily.

“You still don’t talk it up as if it’s your superbowl and you will beat them though.”

        No one is doing that.

Stop being such a concern troll.

Ghana needs to beat the US as badly as we need to beat them.

Bulletin board material is irrelevant. Pretty much to a man they expect to beat us.

If USMNT don’t score an early goal in the game verse Ghana then I don’t see them winning. The tie Might be a draw or a Ghana win.

True talk bruv. In games where we concede first against disciplined sides no matter the opposition we loose. eg loosing to a 20th mins qualifier in Zambia, a 1st minute goal to Montenegro and reencently 5 mins to the dutch. I dont remeber the match we have ever won coming from a goal down. But note U.S is likely to crumble at the last minute and I dont need to pour out any records cause y’all know so Klinsi better be working on that.

I think he was talking about Ghana. Unless the US has played Zambia recently and I’ve blocked it from my memory?

I wonder what coach Appiah has in his mind maintaining Samuel Inkoom who simply refuses to come to any party. Adomah is going to be a weak link if he starts. If Adomahs typical english type of get the ball, run to the wings, cross and score works, the England would not be fluking their team. But Adomah showing that he is the only midfielder that cant shield the ball or force a foul from to prssuring defenders just showed why nobody wanted to give him a pass cause he is waste. Jonathan Mensah is not what a lot think he is. Dodging a short from Kagawa if you can please check the higlights. Boye is an on and off whilst Harrison is going to be heckled by tough wings and attackes. O pare is our only hope but cant account for an attacking cross after making space in attack. oh what a porous defense. If the opponenets are reading and are wise enough, our defense is all yours

If Michael Essien and Andre Ayew actually lead the line for Ghana, we might just have a chance.

kwesi Appiah has taken his final decision and all we need to do is support the team with prayer and i think we will get somewhere in the compitetion

Not worth it pal. Ives works too hard to have his site hijacked by a bunch of comment-level speculation every day.

If you really want to do this, build a solid backlog (3-4 months). Build interest. Get some level of comments. And then be honest. Post a 500 word case for why people should go check out your thoughts, and who you are, and why are not stepping on Ives’ feet (i.e. why this is complementary to what is presented here, instead of a replacement).

If I see “Enzo Dolani” post consistenly worthwhile comments here for a few months, and you offer something this site doesn’t, I might be interested.

But this is just an attempt to piggyback off of Ives. Show some respect.
